This interface allow your accounts/user to connect remotely using command line/ssh..
You can choose from the several shell access types:
- Normal Shell: give the user full access to the shell.
- Jailed Shell — give the user access to a jailed shell, which restricts the commands they may run that might damage your server.
- Disabled Shell – prevent the user from accessing the shell.
- Log in to WHM as the root user.
- Type “Shell Access” into the search field and select it from the list of results.
- In the “Shell Access” section, select the cPanel user that you want to enable shell access for.
- Select the “Keep this account on its package (“Not recommended” option)
5. Now, the user will have SSH access to the shell.
