How to setup private name server in WHM?

Name servers play an important role as a directory that translates domain names into IP addresses. They make things easy to find across the Internet.

SETUP PROCESS :-

  1. Login to your WHM panel.
  2. Kindly search “basic webhost manager” in search bar.
  1. Go to the tab “ basic webhost manager” and scroll down. 
  1. Click on configure address records and put your IP address.

REGISTRATION PROCESS :-

You need to login to your registrar dashboard and register the name servers with IP address. 

POINTING  NAME SERVERS:-

To change the designated nameservers, you must use the registrar’s application. Ensure that it points to the newly established private nameserver addresses.

Note :: DNS propagation takes 24 to 48 hours to reflect it globally.
