WordPress is a popular and user-friendly content management system, and installing it in DirectAdmin using Softaculous is a breeze. Follow these simple steps to get your WordPress site up and running.
1. Log in to your DirectAdmin Panel.
2. Under the “Users” tab, navigate to “Extra Features.” Find and click on the “Softaculous Auto Installer” option.
3. A new tab will open for the Softaculous Auto Installer. Click on the WordPress icon.
4. In the WordPress Management tab, locate the “Install” option and click on it.
5. In the installation settings, select the domain for which you want to install WordPress. You can leave the “Directory” field blank.
6. In the “Site Settings” section, enter your WordPress login details for the wp-admin.
7. Under “Choose Language,” select the language as required. Additionally, in the “Select Plugin” section, choose any plugins by checking the checkboxes according to your requirements.
8. In the “Advanced Options” section, leave the options unchanged; there is no need to make any changes here.
9. Select the theme you want to use for your site based on its purpose.
10. Click on the “Install” button to initiate the installation process.
Your installation will now begin, and Softaculous will automatically set up WordPress for you. Follow the on-screen prompts, and once the installation is complete, you’ll be ready to log in to your WordPress admin and start customizing your site.
