How to install the Hostname SSL certificate onto the cPanel services

The server hostname SSL certificate may occasionally need to be applied to the cPanel services. Secure connections to cPanel services require the server hostname SSL certificate.

These cPanel services use the hostname SSL certificate:

Calendar

cPanel

WebDisk

Webmail

WHM Services Dovecot Mail Server FTP Server Exim (SMTP) Server

  1. \Login to whm
  2. Go to server configuration tab and select manage service ssl certificates.
  1.  Check all boxes for all the services, then select the ‘Browse Certificates’ button:

4 . Choose the VALID hostname SSL certificate from the list of options under “root.” Only a self-signed certificate is displayed in the example below. Locate and utilise the VALID hostname SSL certificate on your server:

5. Once selected, you will see the SSL certificate on the page with green checkmarks next to it

6.Select the ‘Install’ button at the bottom of the page
