How can issues with sending emails be fixed?

The most frequent issue with email sending is improper mail client settings.

Try sending your message through Webmail to see whether the issue is with the settings

in your email client. Webmail clients are already set up to connect to your host server’s

SMTP service. If the email is successfully sent via Webmail, it will be clear that your email

the client’s setup is the cause of the issue.

The correct mail settings to use and resolve this are available in cPanel >> Email Accounts >> Select Email Address and click on Check EMail

Additionally, there are instances where an email is sent, but is later refused by the recipient mail host. In these circumstances, the message ought to be rejected and sent back to your mailbox with an explanation. Common causes of rejection include:

  • Depending on the destination mail host’s filtering, the email may be categorised as SPAM.
  • The receiver mail host requires additional authentication. Before they begin receiving mail from your domain, many email service providers demand that proper SPF or DKIM records be set up. You may find more details on setting up SPF and DKIM here.
  • The host of the recipient email imposes a block. This could be a block ,based on the IP address of your mail server or your domain.
  • The recipient address is misspelled.
